Orange Marmelade

I got this recipe from the owner of a B & B near St. David’s. It’s very easy & you don’t even need Seville oranges.

First, you cut up the oranges (about 1 kg). I also added a lime for extra flavour.

Then add some water – maybe 200ml – & cook until the orange pieces are soft.

Put in blender to give the stuff a mushy sort of texture.

Put back in saucepan, add preserving sugar & boil for 15 mins & then continue simmering until the stuff has the desired consistency.

Fill into jars & voila!
